About Tracking Tests

It is pure joy watching your Field Spaniel follow a trail that you cannot see. The incredible ability of the dog to use his or her nose is, quite simply, amazing. Field Spaniels are blessed with a marvelous “nose” and like to use it. So the sport of tracking is an ideal way for the Field Spaniel to use this natural ability.  There are several levels of tracking, from the basic Tracking Dog (TD) to the highly advanced Variable Surface Tracking.
